DEFENDERS MILITARY WORKING DOG FUND
We have worked with the MWD Unit
at Travis AFB since 2014.  We help to raise funds to host a K-9 Trial on base and provide additional training opportunites for the Travis handlers and their Military Working Dogs.
When units deploy we also make sure
that handlers and MWDs have
any additional supplies needed to ensure their safety and comfort.
When the MWDs at Travis retire, we also provide up to $1,000 toward Emergency Care and assist in raising additional funds to help with
further care when needed.

OUR 'AIR FOR ANIMALS' FUND
to provide Pet Oxygen Masks to Fire Departments

Every year thousands of pets lose their lives in house fires, mainly due to smoke inhalation.  With this new program will be helping to provide life-saving pet oxygen mask kits to firefighters and first responders in California.

5 yr old Gavin Buchanan, donated $100 of his savings of allowance & tooth fairy money during the 2013 Cover Your K-9 fundraiser at the Pet Food Express.  Gavin came to the Alameda/San Leandro K9 competition to donate a Cover Your K9 bullet-proof vest to Palo Alto Police Dept Officer Brad Young
& his partner K-9 Eddie.  Since then he has also helped us present vests to the Benicia Police Department K9 Teams & others.

& many of our K9 heroes will be protected!

COVER YOUR K9 STAT PACK!
The Cover Your K-9 Stat Pack is an innovative portable emergency kit that is equipped with specialized hemostatic gauze to stop bleeding and other emergency supplies for a K-9 handler to have on his/her belt at all times. 
"The biggest threat to a K-9 that has been shot or injured in the field is bleeding to death, this Stat Pack is the first line of defense for a K-9 handler to save his partner," said Officer Alex Jose, Chairman of the
