The Police and Working K-9 Foundation
is a non-profit, all volunteer organization.

We are dedicated to ensuring that
communities in California
will be able to provide support for
their hard-working law enforcement canine teams.

Here is what we have been able to do with your help:
-Provided custom bulletproof and stab resistant
K9 vests to keep over hundreds ofK-9s safe in California
-Hosted a an intensive K-9 Emergency Medicine
course and distributed over 1200 custom
K-9 Trauma Kits
to the K9 officers to help care for their dogs
-Provided more than 90 special heat sensors to keep
K-9s safe and cool in their patrol cars.
-Assisted retired K-9s with Emergency Veterinary Care

There are many more K-9 teams in need of
safety equipment on duty and care in their retirement.
We need your support to help them!

The “Cover Your K-9” Fund is a project of the Police & Working K-9 Foundation, a non-profit corporation working to keep California law enforcement K-9 teams ‘covered’ with safety equipment and emergency medical care.  “Cover Your K-9” provides K-9 bullet-proof vests, heat alarms for patrol cars & has worked with veterinary specialists to design a K-9 Emergency Medical Course & custom K-9 Trauma Kit; this program is serving as a model for K-9 care across the country. Funds are raised through donations from the public and the Annual “Cover Your K-9” Fundraiser hosted by Pet Food Express at all of their stores.   (Tax ID: 27-2717-583)
